This year's theme: Turning Points in History: People, Ideas, Events.
This year's theme has MANY potential topics. It could be one of the many political turning points we study in world and US history. However, don't limit yourself to just political happenings. Consider economic, religious, social, intellectual, artistic, and perhaps technological events. You may be able to find that within a political turning point, there were social and cultural changes as well. Think creatively as you develop your topic!
